by Melanie Nelson on November 18, 2008 · 894 comments

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Wanda at Queenies Little Kingdom.

Yesterday I reviewed the Epson Artisan 800 printer. Today I want to give one to a lucky Blogging Basics 101 reader! That’s right. One2OneNetwork.com & Epson have generously given me an Epson Artisan 800 printer to give to one winner. Believe me when I tell you you’ll love it. It’s an all-in-one product that provides

  • wireless or wired option (including ethernet and bluetooth)
  • printing
  • scanning
  • faxing
  • copying
  • printing directly from a photo card
  • enhancing photos (reducing red-eye and correcting color) from a photo card
  • printing CDs and CD covers

To enter the giveaway please visit the Epson Artisan 800 printer site and review the functions. Then simply come back here and leave me a comment telling me your favorite feature of the Epson Artisan 800. (there are so many more than I have listed). See if you can come up with something unique. You can even tell me why a particular feature is important to you. Just make it interesting. Comments like “Pick me!” or “I want this!” or anything else mundane will not be eligible.

Also, don’t enter more than once because duplicate entries will mean that you don’t get any entries. Just so you know and all. And no anonymous comments because, hello? How can I contact you if you’re anonymous? Just sayin’.

Finally, the rest of the rules:

  • This giveaway is open to US residents.
  • You don’t have to be a blogger to play along, but you do have to have an e-mail address.
  • I’ll pick a winner on Tuesday, November 25 and contact you that same day via e-mail. You have four days to respond. If I don’t hear from you by then, I’ll have to choose a new winner. Make sure you’re checking your spam folder.

By the way, if you’re interested in becoming part of the One2One Network tell them Melanie Nelson from Blogging Basics 101 sent you! I’m not in an affiliate program with them, it just helps One2One Network track where their members are coming from. Thanks!

The name speaks for itself! I like the wireless feature as well as the all in one….they are all in the functions that I need. Many thanks for a great giveaway.

2 Bobv November 24, 2008 at 2:56 pm

My favorite is the wireless ability.

3 Jamaise November 24, 2008 at 3:03 pm

All the features together, it sounds state of the art. I like the “Print from video clips”. We have some video from summer vacation & the kids look like angels – to print & frame those shots would be perfect.
Thanks for the chance.

I love all the things you can do with photos. With two little ones – this would come in handy for all our craft projects.

5 Samuel Espinoza November 24, 2008 at 4:03 pm

I just love the photo layouts feature. Actually, i think I could use this feature to make special custom made invitations for my birthday party that is coming up. YAY!!!!! Omg….and also the wireless functions and the touch pannel are oustanding. This is perfect for an office and is light as well as very portable. BEST PRINTER EVER!!!!!!

I am really impressed with the “all-in-oneness” of this printer, especially since it will free up much of the desk space/homework work space in our home. I am also very excited about the wireless feature…with four computers in our house, two of which belong to teenagers, this machine would be a valuable asset to our home and family!!

7 Kristine November 24, 2008 at 4:42 pm

The bluetooth option

8 Dan November 24, 2008 at 4:58 pm

My wife is an aspiring photographer and the all in one capabilities are awesome. Being able to have a useful printer would solve everything.

14 Jill Maldonado November 24, 2008 at 6:24 pm

So many features..so hard to choose only one. I guess the best feature is that it’s free LOL No really I’m the custodial grandparent of three small children so I choose the Coloring book pages (made using your photos)
Thank you

There are so many features of this printer that I like; I’ll try to keep it short :) First of all, I love it’s ‘sleek and chic appearance’. The design of this printer is great. I really despise looking at the bulky grayness that most printers are. This is a machine I wouldn’t try to hide or keep out of sight. My other favorite feature is being able to enhance photos directly from a photo card. There have been so many times where I’ve wanted to print a photo off quickly, but wished I had time to make a few edits. Thanks for the chance to win!

16 Karen Bell November 24, 2008 at 7:26 pm

WOW!! IT LOOKS AWSOME!! SUCH VIBRANT COLORS IT PRINTS.

17 Beverly Metcalf November 24, 2008 at 7:29 pm

This is a nice printer. You can do just about everything with it! I really like that you can print directly from a photo card with it. Thanks for having a great contest!

18 Lily Kwan November 24, 2008 at 8:06 pm

My favorite feature is the wireless printing option.

19 Wendy McBride November 24, 2008 at 8:12 pm

My favorite feature is the 2-sided printing ability! Wow! How great that would be in this age of waaaaaassstted paper!

20 Helen November 24, 2008 at 8:25 pm

I like the wireless capability! It just makes life easier.

21 Carol Matisak November 24, 2008 at 8:51 pm

With 4 children, ages 18, 10, 2 & 8 months, the wireless networking feature is an absolute must for our family. The older kids can print their homework upstairs from our PC while I can print my business marketing materials downstairs from our laptop (that is while potty-training my toddler and teaching my 8 month old a new sing along game!)

Life is much too complicated for some of us working moms; anything that can simplify our lives is a wonderful thing!

22 Catherine KingChuparkoff November 24, 2008 at 9:36 pm

The wireless feature is very appealing to me because it allows me to be mobile around the house with my children and still get my work done.

23 Marc November 24, 2008 at 10:14 pm

I love the Direct CD/DVD printing feature for making professional looking labels.

24 Joy Venters November 24, 2008 at 10:16 pm

cd printing

The photo-layout feature and color feature is just what I would expect and want from one! Looks perfect

27 Jay Reichelsheimer November 24, 2008 at 10:46 pm

It looks stylish and the large LCD is great for when you dont wont to turn on the computer.

28 Michelle H. November 24, 2008 at 10:46 pm

This printer sounds awesome. I love how it can Print from video clips, among many other things.

29 Jacob LaFountaine November 24, 2008 at 10:53 pm

Wireless option. Really want a printer that can print without being attached to a computer directly

30 Donna K November 24, 2008 at 11:20 pm

I like the wireless capability.

31 susan November 24, 2008 at 11:49 pm

I have had my eye on this prinet for a while, love that it is wireless, A MUST!!! The list of loves goes on, I love EVERYTHING about it!

32 Heather C November 25, 2008 at 12:22 am

Oh! Two-sided printing! Love that, since I like to save paper. :-)

33 Kim November 25, 2008 at 11:51 am

I love this printer! I have a small home transcription business where I have to print alot of pages and my biggest frustration of my job is my slow old printer. I love the speed of the printing and I also love the fax capability. I know many printers these days are all in one but I haven’t been able to upgrade to a printer with this feature yet so to have a fax built into my printer would be incredible! Thanks for the giveaway offer!

34 The Diaper Diaries November 25, 2008 at 12:08 pm

My favorite thing is that it is a working printer. Cause mine right now, not so much. But my other one is the photo quality printing and its wirelessness.

35 Deb@Bird On A Wire November 25, 2008 at 12:10 pm

I love that this printer is wireless! OMG how much that would help this business and my blogging! Thanks for letting us participate

36 Deb on the Rocks November 25, 2008 at 12:35 pm

I run a business out of my home and share my shiny tools with my teenagers, both of whom are incredibly busy and creative. We often boot each other off of the computer tethered to the best printer, or get in each others’ ways running cords to laptops to print. Wireless FTW! They would say I pwned if I brought home an Epson Artisan 800 printer, and pwning is about as good as it gets.

37 Angie November 25, 2008 at 12:55 pm

I love that it will convert photos to an outline version so that you can print coloring pages. My niece loves to color, but I can’t find any good coloring books for her that don’t feature t.v. characters. If I am chosen for this I can print pictures of us (in NC) to send to her (in NY) so that she can color and have fun pictures of us too.

38 Nancy November 25, 2008 at 2:42 pm

Oh man! This entire thing rocks, but my favorite would probably be the “Create coloring books” part. I’d LOVE to make coloring books for my kids!!

39 Mary B November 25, 2008 at 3:39 pm

I like how I can put my picture card in there and preview. Plus, we have a small house. The cordless option really makes it practical!

40 Israel Goldshmid November 25, 2008 at 5:50 pm

I like the high Resolution printing as I do a lot of High quality photo printing

41 Simply Kris November 25, 2008 at 9:22 pm

Wireless?!?!?!? A Cleaner desk? A more productive me! My creative juices are secreting!!!!

42 amy mason November 25, 2008 at 10:02 pm

I love that it’s wireless- very practical.

I love that I can make coloring book pages – very fun!!

43 Kathryn November 25, 2008 at 10:44 pm

LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that it is wireless… I have a wireless network in my house, but have to go plug my laptop in or send it to the desktop whenever I want to print something. I’m a huge fan of EPSON printers, its the only brand I consider.
