So, some of you may have heard of a little website called Mashable. They’re kind of a big deal on the internet and they are THE place to go for tech news, advice, and updates.
Today Mashable linked to Blogging Basics 101 as an example of what to do when you’re picking the perfect name for your startup. And they put up a screenshot of my header. And then I died.
I tried to explain to my husband how big a deal this is, but I started laughing so hard I couldn’t finish. So he said, “BOOM!” and I wheezed, “More like BOOM! to the power of Chuck Norris!” and died again.
So if you’re here from Mashable, welcome! I’m really glad you’re here.
Congrats. That is HUGE!!!! And the name of your blog is perfect. Says it all. And even though I am beyond the 101 of blogging, I love reading your blog.

So exciting!! I think that no matter what, revisiting the 101 from time to time can be helpful to us all – I also think that there are times I think “I know that” but I’m not actually putting everything “I know” into practice or may have gone a bit stale….Congrats!!!

I’d say Mashable is a little slow on the draw, though; Blogging Basics 101 has been giving great, easy-to-understand advice for YEARS now, and I’m so happy for YOU it’s been given a broader audience with the help from Pete & the gang (in this case Frances McInnis who obviously ROCKS!)
