Public Thank You

I want to publicly thank a someone who has really helped me over the past few weeks. I’ve had some serious issues transferring Blogging Basics 101 and my other blogs (Don’t Try This at Home and Bloggy Giveaways) to WordPress. It wasn’t hard, but I didn’t know what I was doing and made a few mistakes.

Lisa Boyd is a WordPress genius. You know how Apple has the Genius Bar? Lisa is the sole proprietor of the WordPress Genius Bar. I would cry in my iced tea about this or that not working and she swiftly showed me how to fix them. She has helped me fix my feeds, my permalinks, and set up my other blogs. Not once did she say, “You should know this!” (even when I should have). She was the picture of patience. And you know how she learned it? One day she decided she’d like to know this or that and she just jumped in and made it happen. Then I came along and sucked the life out of her by asking so many questions. Still she was gracious. That, readers, is why I want to publicly thank Lisa Boyd. She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s kind, and she’s my friend. Thank you, Lisa.

You can find Lisa in several places (and I hope you will, you won’t regret it):

  1. Blog looks excellent!

Any reason why the RSS feed title appears in Google Reader as (title unknown)? Do I have to refresh something? Would be cool to see the right name so I can sort & read better 🙂

    1. Huh. I thought I’d fixed that. Must have been one of those times when I *thought* about it so it meant I’d *done* it. Off to fix that now. Thanks for reminding me!

  2. You are not the first person I have heard this from! I met her briefly at Blissdom and she is so nice. I did not realize she had 3 blogs so I will add the other to my reader. Glad all the bugs are now smooth!
