How do I make a picture a link?

Linking a picture is just as simple as linking text.

To link a picture using Typepad:

  1. Insert a graphic into your post.
  2. Highlight it by clicking on it one time.
  3. Click on the Insert Link button on the Compose Post toolbar (it looks like a chain link). A window will pop up asking you to type in a URL (A web address).
  4. Type in the URL you want your graphic to link to and click OK.

To link to a picture using Blogger:

  3. Click on the Link button on the Create Post toolbar (it’s a picture of a chain link and the earth). A window will pop up asking you to type in a URL.
  4. Type in the URL you want your graphic to link to and click OK.

  1. What a NINNY I’m finding out I am today! (And, I’m a little concerned y’all are just gonna think I’m an IDIOT, but…) I just realized I’ve been linking images a MUCH more difficult way than necessary (tracking down the entire HTML code for it rather than SIMPLY uploading the image and THEN clicking on the link chain).

Obviously, after blogging for two years, I STILL need help from Blogging Basics 101. Thanks, girlie-Qs :)!
